Jane's vision for Sun Valley is for the City Council to govern in a manner that allows Sun Valley to maintain its unique atmosphere and history as a mountain resort town where people work and play while providing outstanding recreational opportunities for visitors.

We need to maintain our tourist economic base in a welcoming manner. The City Council must balance priorities through thoughtful, deliberate planning, with decisions guided by sound legal and economic analysis.

Jane can link the vision/heritage goal for Sun Valley with the concrete, day-to-day actions the City Council must take to successfully reach its goal.

Continue prudent budget management.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Maintain the Sun Valley housing assistance initiatives for public safety employees while collaborating with other agencies to devise new, cooperative approaches to expand the supply of affordable housing.

LIFESTYLE

Move forward with an incremental plan for improvements for Festival Meadow, a.k.a. Champions Meadow, to highlight our heritage and provide open space for multi-use

recreation, sports, arts, and group gatherings.

ROADS

Resolve the Sun Valley Road/Dollar Road intersection issues in the safest, most effective manner.

WHAT JANE BRINGS TO THE COUNCIL

COMPETENCE

Wide experience in governance and legal compliance in operations based on a 40+ year legal career, including 10 years of practice in Idaho, and two terms on the Sun Valley City Council.

CONSISTENCY

Application of standards, rules, and law fairly enacted and fairly applied, through evidence-based analysis and decisions.

COMMITMENT. A promise to be diligent, informed, and trustworthy in service to the citizens of Sun Valley.
